Katherine Filippeos, a Greek-Canadian musician based in Athens, has released a beautiful new Christmas song called “King of Kings,” perfect for bringing joy and reflection this holiday season.

The heart-warming song provides a much-needed dose of peace and hope for Christmas 2020, when much of the world is stuck at home, often far away from their loved ones. In the song, Filippeos highlights the joy and peace of Christmas, singing:

“Magic fills the winter sky
A miracle just after midnight
This little child comes from above
to bring us peace and teach us love”

Born and raised in Toronto, Filippeos holds an ARCT diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Putting her musical and songwriting talents to work, Filippeos has written songs for herself and others that have appeared on the Billboard charts in North America.

Coming from a musical family, Filippeos co-wrote King of Kings, with her father, Kostas Filippeos, whose compositions have been featured on Canadian film and television, including OMNI Channel 47 and the Odyssey Television Network.

The joyful Christmas song was produced by gold and platinum-selling record producer Chris Philips, Filippeos’ brother, who has worked on music featured in major television shows, including Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Oz, and the Ellen show.

You can find Filippeos’ music on Youtube and Spotify.
