Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined the parade of thousands of Greeks and Canadians in Montreal on Sunday to celebrate the 25th of March anniversary of the Greek revolution against the Ottomans.

The parade at the the streets of Park Extension has become a staple celebration of the community’s integral role in Montreal’s cultural life.

The parade showcased approximately eighty groups and over 3,000 participants from all Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal’s schools and departments, Greek associations, educational institutions and various cultural communities, a Canadian armed forces brigade and other officials.
