Antetokounmpo Greets Toronto Crowd with “Long Live Greece” (video)

Giannis Antetokounmpo greeted Toronto-area Greek fans with a “Long Live Greece” chant on Monday after the Milwaukee Bucks — Toronto Raptors NBA game on Monday night.

Giannis’ stellar performance contributed once again to lead the Bucks to a win, this time in a 104-99 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Fortunate Greeks in Toronto had an opportunity after the game to meet the NBA star who has broken one record after the other and is well on his way to becoming the next huge NBA star.

After the game, the “Greek Freak” took a microphone and briefly stood in front of the stands to address the fellow Greeks who were waiting to meet and greet the young NBA star.

“Guys, because I’m late for the bus, I want to tell you a few words quickly. Thank you very much for supporting me. Thank you for supporting Baks. Thank you! Long live Greece!” Antetokounmpo said while fans stood and applauded him wildly.
