“Upon completion of my term of office at the Consulate General of Greece in Toronto, my family and I are departing Toronto, this magnificent city with an exceptional Greek Canadian community that embraced us for the last four years, offering unforgettable professional and personal experiences and long-lasting friendships,” Ioannidis wrote on Facebook.

“In anticipation of taking up new duties with the Permanent Greek Representation to the European Union in Brussels, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your wholehearted support in our efforts to achieve our common objectives in promoting Hellenism in Ontario and Manitoba and provide high-quality consular services to Greek citizens”, he added.
