Greek Holocaust Film Scoops Award (video)

A harrowing short film about Greek prisoners in German death camps during WWII has won an award in Canada.

Eleftheromania, a 20-minute offering filmed in Toronto and New York, was directed by David Antoniuk and produced by Joanna Tsanis, Charles M. Scott and Gregory C. Pappas.

It won Best Drama at the 2018 Toronto Shorts International Film Festival.

Oscar-winning actor Olympia Dukakis plays an elderly camp survivor who is interviewed by a journalist (Anthoula Katsimatides) about the Greek prisoners.
