Under the headline The Life of Veronique Rivest in 60 minutes, the French-language newspaper La Presse, published in Montreal, featured an ambassador of Greek wines and the documentary about her life, entitled At Random.
It noted that Rivest acquired the title of runner-up in the world at the A.S.I. Contest of the Best Sommelier of the World in Tokyo, Japan, one of the few women to win that distinction among wine experts who have developed a nose and palate for the grape.
Rivest has also won the title of the Best Sommelier of the Americas and Best Sommelier of Canada in 2012 and is one of the most talented and respected professionals in the world of wines. The documentary refers to her origins, her relation with wine and sheds light on the role of sommelier.
