The Greek America Foundation is planning a special evening with Oscar award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis in Toronto, starting with a viewing of her starring role in Moonstruck, then a question-and-answer session, a private reception and private dinner for a select few.
In celebration of the Toronto International Film Festival taking place, Dukakis will join her Canadian and Greek Canadian fans to talk about her career, growing up Greek in America and celebrate the work of the Greek America Foundation. The event is a fundraiser for the Foundation, of which she has always been a keen supporter.
Earlier this year, Dukakis, also known for her roles in Steel Magnolias, Tales of the City and countless other films and productions, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
