Surrey Museum in British Columbia, Canada announced its summer program which is full of events focused on Greek culture for both adults and kids.
Officials of the Musuem callĀ oncitizens of Surrey to learn about Greek gods, the nineĀ Muses and more with hands-on activities. Canadians joining in on various events will travel back to ancient Greece and learnĀ the secrets of a healthy Mediterranean lifestyle.

Kids’ Sessions:
Mythic Fridays- All Summer Long
Kids of all ages can learn about the history and mythology of the Mediterranean by recreating the labours of Hercules, creating their own Greek gods and more, with a different āmythicā craft each week.
The program begins at 10:30 am and lasts one-and-a-half hour.
Itās All Greek- July 14th
Preschool travelers will voyage to the Mediterranean to learn how kids grew up in Athens, Sparta and the Greek Islands long ago. Have a Greek snack, learn how the Greeks took baths and more!

Armchair Travelers: Greek Myths and Muses
Historical fiction and travel writer W. Ruth Kozak takes you on a journey from sacred Delphi to the vineyards of the lyric poet Sappho in search of the heroes of Greek history.

Long Live the Greeks
Author Harry Mouratides traveled to ten Greek ālongevity villagesā filled with healthy and active nonagenarians. He shares some secrets at a special reading and discussion of his book.
