The Greek deputy of Ontario, Jim Kariyannis expressed his opposition to the actions of the conservative government, regarding the return of Canadians from Egypt. The deputy asked Harper’s government to expedite the Canadian citizens departure from the country. He also asks the government to expedit the visa issue procedure for families that have already decided to leave and on visa issues regarding relatives of the Canadian-Egyptian community. He wants all relatives to have a safe return to their families as soon as possible.
