Thirteen Greek Candidates for Toronto Councelors

election-roundupThirteen candidates of Greek origin will run for councelors in the upcoming municipal elections in Toronto, to be held on October 27.

The Greek candidates for councelors in various parties are the following: George Dedopoulos, Dinos Kaltsoudas, Theo Lagakos, Gus Koutroumanos, Andreas Marouchos, Stella Kargiannaki, Mary Fragkedaki, John Papadakis, Jimmy Vlachos, George Papadakis, Theo Kalafatis, Jim Karygiannis and John Kladitis.

In the Toronto municipal elections, people will vote to elect a mayor and 44 city councilors. In addition, school trustees will be elected to the Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest and Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud. The elections will be held along with the ones for the province of Ontario.
