A seminar organized by the Office of Educational Affairs will be presented in collaboration with the Pedagogical University of Crete, on Saturday, April 26 at the Hellenic Cultural Centre of Montreal. The seminar is entitled “Learning Greek as a Second Language online: The Combined Dynamic Model of Language Learning (CDMLL) of the University of Crete.”
The “e-Learning Environment” part of the seminar was developed by the University of Crete, in particular by the Center of Intercultural and Migration Studies, under the project “Greek-language Intercultural Education Abroad,” which will be analyzed by professors Aspa Chatzidaki, Ioannis Spantidakis and Vasilia Kourtis-Kazoullis.
Furthermore, professor Anna Chatzipanagiotidi will present the new books “Margarita 7” and “Alphabet,” while also providing examples of the pedagogical use of an e-learning environment with the collaboration of the audience.
Finally, the professors from the University of Crete and the Greek teachers of Montreal will have the opportunity to discuss numerous issues related to teaching the Greek language in Canada and share views on the new books for teaching Greek as a second language.
