The Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs Dimitris Avramopoulos, is to hold a three-day visit to Canada, from Feb. 25 to 27.
Avramopoulos will be in Toronto on Feb. 25, where he will meet with the Metropolitan of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto, Sotirios, as well as with the Diaspora. He will also attend a dinner with Greek businessmen and investors.
On Feb. 26, he will make a short visit to Montreal, where he is to meet with Montreal’s interim mayor, Michael Applebaum as well as with other entrepreneurs and investors.
In the afternoon, he will travel to Ottawa to meet with the Honorable Canadian Senate Speaker Noel Kinsella, and later he is to attend a reception organized by the Canadian parliament in his honor.
Finally, on Feb. 27, Avramopoulos will meet with his Canadian counterpart John Baird, in the Canadian capital to talk about Canadian-Greek relations, which completed 70 years of official diplomatic ties in 2012.
