The theatre dance group Nefeli of the Greek Community in Toronto has begun successfully performing the comedy of Dimitris Psathas, “The robber is screaming”, with Nancy Athanasiadi leading the direction of the play.
The dance theatre group will travel on March 3 to the Greek Orthodox Community of Saint Catherine’s in Ontario, while from March 15 to 17 the play will be presented to the Greek audiences of Montreal.
In parallel to the performances in Montreal, theatrical seminars will be delivered under the title “Theatre-The Greek language”, which will aim at further training both drama students and professors on how theatre can become a means of teaching the Greek language abroad.
The seminars are organized by Dr. Debbie Chatzidakis, educational consultant of Greece to Canada.
