The Taverne Crescent, situated on one of Montreal’s historic party streets, came up with a new policy: Pay what you can. Even though the crisis has hit all aspect of business the Greek-Canadian owner of the restaurant, George Pappas, takes the risk and the publicity for his idea. Talking to Thestar.com he said:
“Some people might pay nothing, but maybe when they have more money in three or six months, they’ll come back and pay more.”
